What I really like about working at the university is that you also get to travel some and meet interesting people who can provide you with a lot of insight. That is what I’ve been hoping to get out of the American Studies Colloquium held at the Palacky University in Olomouc. I can say after just one day that I’m definitely coming back again next year. And right now I just can’t wait till the next day starts.

Might sound kind of weird that I put this up here, but actually it’s quite important. Please, notice that the date of the elections has been changed to February 12, a day we’re all at school. So please, be so kind as to go and vote for someone you think will represent your interests best. And, no, I’m not going to tell you who that is. You have to do the thinking yourselves (once again). Enjoy it thoroughly!
